Educational history: BS Minnesota State University, Moorhead. Elementary Education with a math emphasis.
Why I choose to work at Aspen Academy: I choose to work at Aspen Academy because the curriculum is engaging and challenging to students, yet allows the flexibility for me to teach to the individual child's needs while using my own creativity. The small school environment creates a strong sense of community between the staff, students, and families.
Hobbies/interests: I enjoy watching Minnesota sports, traveling, hiking, scrapbooking, and reading. I also love spending time with my family and friends.
Favorite author/historical figure: I enjoy reading Jodi Picoult books because her stories are very thought provoking. She also writes in a way that allows the reader to connect with the characters.
