 "Swinging for the Stars!"
 May 14th, 2012: Animal reports went home last Friday. Students can work on them when they get time at home to do so and then they can bring them in to share whenever they finish. Thank you to the parents for help with this project. Have a good week!May 9th, 2012: Look for animal reports to come home this weekend. This is something they will work on at home, but share here at school.
April 23rd, 2012:Due to the fact most seeds at home have not begun to sprout for our plant journals, please continue to water them and monitor them for growth through-out this week. Then turn in the journal when more time has passed or finally you see some results. Thank you.April 17th, 2012:We are still learning about plants. From what plants need to grow to what their different parts are named. We are wrapping up addition this week and soon will be moving onto subtraction. Thank you for all the work you do at home with reading, home work and everything that helps your child here at school. March 28th, the class will partake in our own trade fair. What I need
each student to do is bring 6 of one item to trade with during the trade
fair. This can be anywhere from making flowers, pot holders, pencil
toppers, stress balls, jewelry, barrettes, kites, paintings, books, bookmarks,
etc. I think that familyfun.com is
a great website to get easy craft ideas from!! It doesn't need to be
anything elaborate, and please don't send food.
March 21st, 2012: In a giving mood? For if you are feeling like doing some giving my class is running low on the following three items: glue sticks, paper cups and construction paper. Thanks for your consideration and help.March 19th, 2012: Today we talked about the school's talent show and so many students wanted to be apart of it I agreed to send home another sign up sheet. We are still learning about Native Americans this week. Remember Friday is a half day of school.March 12th, 2012: The website is up and running. Be sure to check back from time to time to get updates about our class! This week we will be working some more with the numbers 11 to 20 and will continue to learn all about Native Americans.
