Why I choose to work at Aspen Academy: Aspen is a fabulous school with such a community of families. I enjoy the differentiation of learning in all subject areas. The Core Knowledge Curriculum allows learning to be taken to the highest level possible.
Hobbies/interests: I love to read, watch football, hockey, and sew. I enjoy volunteering in my community in a variety of ways.
Favorite author/historical figure: My favorite author is Jodi Picoult. She has written numerous books, each one with a moral dilemma and just when you think you have figured out and understand what has happened she switches to another character and introduces you to their side of the story. It makes you really look at both sides of a dilemma and not to judge until you have all the pieces of the puzzle.
