Why I choose to work at Aspen Academy:   Prior to applying for a teaching position, I decided to learn more about Aspen Academy.  I was delighted to discover that Aspen Academy has a highly dedicated school community, a strong leadership, a rigorous curriculum which is engaging and enriching for students, utilizes best teaching and learning practices, an active volunteer system, and a mission and vision which supports student learning at the highest level.  I am looking forward to the upcoming school year and I am excited to be part of the Aspen Community. Hobbies/Interests:  I enjoy spending time with my family, cheering for The Ohio State Buckeyes, learning about health and fitness, reading, watching movies, listening to music, shopping, traveling, and socializing.  Favorite author/historical figure:  My favorite historical figure is Eleanor Roosevelt because she dedicated her life to help make our world a better place.  I also admire Walt Disney because of his innovative and creative ideas.   Personal motto/inspirational quote:  "All of our dreams can come true - if we have the courage to pursue them."  ~Walt Disney
