Why I choose to work at Aspen Academy:
After many years in the corporate world, I took a step back and
simplified my life. Aspen Academy offered me the opportunity to work in
my community and to do something I enjoy; being around children.
Hobbies/interests:
Relaxing with a good book, gardening, visiting with my family and
friends and traveling, when I have the opportunity, are some of the
things that I enjoy doing.
Favorite author/historical figure:
Growing up in an era when women's roles were changing, I admired all
the women that made a difference in our past. Sacajawea, Betsy Ross,
Marie Curie, Florence Nightingale, and Harriet Tubman are just a few of
them. Their accomplishments, even through adversity, had a positive
influence in our world.
Personal motto/inspirational quote: I try to live by the "Golden Rule" and the proverb that states "If a job is worth doing, it's worth doing well." |
