Why I choose to work at Aspen Academy: I love Aspen for its sense of community and collaboration. Everyone works together to build a caring learning environment for our students.
Hobbies/interests: I love working in the garden, playing cards and board games, reading, and hitting the highway for summer road trips.
Favorite author/historical figure: From ages past, I admire Socrates and Spinoza because they are brought forth new ways of thinking and were not dissuaded by the resistance they met. In current times, I love reading Haruki Murakami's books because of the strange and fascinating worlds he creates in his novels.

This reminds me that there is something to be gained in every experience, even the not-so-fun ones.
